Transitioning from another certification body

Management System Auditor

If you are a Management System Auditor wanting to transition to Exemplar Global certification or wish to attain dual certification, we will formally recognize your auditor certification from these certification bodies:

Chinese Certification & Accreditation Association (CCAA)
International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA)
Korean Auditor Registration (KAR)
Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB).

Evidence must be in the form of a current card, certificate, or official letter from the authorizing body. Invoices and receipts will not be accepted.
There is no application or transition fee, however a certification fee will apply.
The certification granted will reflect the grade and scheme you currently hold.
Additional requirements and fees may be applicable if you apply for a higher grade of certification or if you apply for competency-based certification.

ISO and industry transitions

ISO standards

All ISO standards are reviewed on a five-year cycle. Our management system programs are based on the relevant international ISO standard. For auditors, this means that you are required to demonstrate their knowledge of the updated standards relevant to their certification.

Industry

Industries often update their specific requirements. As an auditor, you are required to be familiar with the updated criteria relevant to your certification and keep up to date with future reforms.

ISO 22000:2018 transition (applies to current Food Safety Management System Auditors)

What is ISO 22000:2018?

ISO 22000:2018 certification covers all the processes in the food chain that impact the safety of the end-product. This includes the requirements for a comprehensive food safety management system. It also incorporates the elements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

What is required?

You may complete the ISO 22000:2018 transition in one of three ways:

Complete the ISO 22000:2018 Transition Assessment
Complete the ISO 22000:2018 Training with a certification body or registrar
Attend an ISO 22000:2018 course or examination from an Exemplar Global-certified training provider or other reputable training organization.

Once you’ve met one of the above requirements, you can notify us by sending us a copy of your certificate of completion.

All Exemplar Global-certified FSMS auditors are required to transition to the ISO 22000:2018 Auditor Program by December, 2021. Transition assessment fees apply.
