“Instead of being involved in every single step, Exemplar Global evaluates your process based on the standard or the requirement of the certification,” says Ansari. “ If you’re complying with that, you’re good to go. Overall, the assessment was quick, very efficient, and the feedback was right to the point.”

“SGS already had a very robust training program, not only in certification for ISO management system standards and auditing skills, but also within highly regulated industries such as medical devices,” recalls Ansari. “I believe, however, that Exemplar Global has added some capacity to our training program to make it more efficient. From a customer perspective, our students are assured that they are attending a course that is not only offered by the largest certification body in the world, but that a very well-known and highly respected third party like Exemplar Global has certified that course as well. I believe that this combination has helped us a lot in our business.”

I never felt that the assessor was just trying to give me a hard time! It was all very professional, with the goal of making sure that what we offered complied with Exemplar Global requirements.

“Best of all, the assessor had a very good business mindset, which fostered some excellent conversation about why we are doing what we are doing, and why we should (or should not) continue in the same way. It’s a matter of defining the training processes and demonstrating that the instructors are qualified. At the end there is going to be an audit process, but the training partner is responsible for their own decisions. The process is rigorous but also very customer friendly.”
