Exemplar Global is pleased to announce the forthcoming launch of a new Training Certificate Verification Directory for graduates of Exemplar Global-recognized training providers.
This new online tool allows your graduates to independently verify that they completed training with an Exemplar Global Certified Training Provider. In doing so, it also helps protect the integrity of your training records and strengthens the credibility of your organization’s brand.
The directory enables graduates—and other third parties, such as employers or clients—to verify training completion using the following information:
- Graduate’s first and last name
- Graduate’s verification code
Graduates will appear in the directory only if they have been uploaded by their Exemplar Global certified training provider. Once your organization uploads a graduate to the Exemplar Global system, the verification code will be automatically sent to the graduate via email. Verification codes do not need to be printed on the certificates of attainment or certificate of attendance issued by your organization.
Graduates will remain listed in the directory even if they later choose to apply for and obtain an Exemplar Global personnel certification. In this case, individuals who complete training and achieve certification will appear in both the Training Certificate Verification Directory and the Exemplar Global Register.
The directory does not indicate whether a graduate has received a certificate of attainment or a certificate of attendance from your organization. There is no expiration date displayed; the directory simply confirms that training occurred at a specific point in time.

- What is the Training Certificate Verification Directory? The Training Certificate Verification Directory is a verification-only online directory that allows graduates (and third parties such as employers or clients) to confirm that training was completed with an Exemplar Global certified training provider. - What is the difference between a training certificate and Exemplar Global personnel certification?
- Training certificates and certifications are often confused, but they mean very different things. A training certificate is proof that a graduate completed training with your organization, while Exemplar Global personnel certification is a separate process that verifies professional competence against defined certification requirements.
- Important: The Training Certificate Verification Directory confirms training attainment/attendance. It does not indicate that a graduate has achieved Exemplar Global personnel certification.

- Who will appear in the directory? Only graduates uploaded by an Exemplar Global certified training provider will appear in the directory. Individuals cannot self-register or add themselves.
- How does verification work?
- Verification can be completed using:
- The graduate’s first and last name, and
- The graduate’s verification code
- This enables a graduate to share their verification details with an employer/client when needed.
- What is the verification code?
- The verification code is a unique identifier tied to the graduate’s uploaded training record. It is used to verify training in the directory.
- Important:
- The verification code is made available to the graduate (via automated email after upload).
- The code is not required to be printed on the graduate’s certificate of attendance or certificate of attainment.
- Will a graduate receive one verification code for all completed training?
- A separate verification code is issued for each course a graduate completes. Graduates will receive a unique verification code for every training course they have either attended or attained, which allows each course to be verified individually in the Training Certificate Verification Directory.
- Do we need to include the verification code on our certificates?
- The verification code is not required to appear on certificates issued by your organization. The directory is a separate verification method that uses the code and the graduate’s name.
- When is the directory launching? The directory will launch on February 28, 2026.
- What will the directory show about a graduate’s training?
- The directory is for verification only. It confirms that training occurred and that the graduate record was uploaded by an Exemplar Global Certified Training Provider.
- It does not indicate:
- Whether the graduate earned a certificate of attendance or a certificate of attainment, or
- Whether the graduate has achieved Exemplar Global personnel certification.
- Does the directory show an expiration date? There is no expiration date displayed for graduates in the directory. The directory simply confirms that training occurred at a specific point in time.
- Does the directory show the training provider and course? The provider name and course are displayed in the training record.
- What if a graduate later becomes Exemplar Global certified? If a graduate later applies for and obtains an Exemplar Global personnel certification, they will appear:
- In the Training Certificate Verification Directory, and
- On the Exemplar Global Register
- They will remain listed in the training directory even after achieving certification.
- What if a graduate can’t find their record in the directory?
- Common causes include:
- The graduate has not yet been uploaded by the provider
- The graduate is using a different name than what was uploaded (e.g., nickname vs. legal name, name change)
- The verification code is incorrect or the email with the code was missed
- Recommended steps:
- Confirm the graduate has been uploaded to the Exemplar Global system
- Confirm spelling/format of the first and last name used for upload
- Ask the graduate to use the exact verification code provided
- If the issue persists, contact Exemplar Global Support
- Can graduates add themselves (self-register)? Individuals cannot self-register. Only Exemplar Global Certified Training Providers can upload graduates, who will then appear in the directory.
- How should trainers communicate this to graduates?
- We will provide communication resources you can share, including:
- Knowledge articles in the Exemplar Global Community
- Updated materials (e.g., graduate registration slides) once the directory is live
- You may also include a short statement in your graduate follow-up email, such as:
- “Your training completion can be verified through Exemplar Global’s Training Certificate Verification Directory using your unique verification code, which is emailed to you once we (training provider) upload your details to the Exemplar Global system.”
