Upcoming Update:
EG Course ID Requirements for Training Providers

Exemplar Global will soon be introducing an important update that will affect how courses are identified across our certified training provider network. This update is designed to support greater consistency, transparency, and recognition of Exemplar Global–aligned training.

We’re sharing this information now as an early heads-up. Although some implementation details are still being finalized, we want to ensure training providers are aware of what’s coming and why it matters.

What’s changing

As part of this update, all approved courses will need to be associated with an Exemplar Global Course ID (EG Course ID).

Why this matters

This update supports two key improvements:

1. Improved course visibility and searchability. Exemplar Global is enhancing its Client Register to make it easier for learners to find Exemplar Global–aligned training. Aligning course offerings with standardized EG Course IDs enables clearer tracking and more consistent presentation of courses.
2. A smoother certification pathway for learners. Learners who complete training through a certified training provider and wish to apply for Exemplar Global personnel certification should enjoy a straightforward application experience. Requiring EG Course IDs on certificates of attainment helps ensure applications can be processed efficiently and accurately.

What to expect going forward

Once implemented:

• Each course will be assigned an EG Course ID
• Training providers will associate their courses with the appropriate EG Course ID
• The EG Course ID will appear on certificates of attainment issued for that course

This update does not change course content, delivery, or approval requirements. It relates only to how courses are identified and referenced.
