Description
The circumstances in which an organization operates plays an important role in its interactions with the environment. In this presentation we will discuss what issues might affect an organization’s management of the environment and, therefore, why having a good understanding of the organization’s context is important. We will also look at where knowledge of the organization’s context is applied within an ISO 14001 environmental management system in order to aid in implementing and auditing clause 4.1 Understanding the organization and its context.
