As organizations reach the deadline and complete the transition to ISO 9001:2015 you can hear a collective sigh of relief. However, as with an initial certification, most organizations struggle to sustain the implementation of their QMS during the first surveillance audit after a transition is complete.
This session is focused on reviewing lessons learned from some of the most challenging clauses in ISO 9001:2015 and what organizations will need to consider to sustain their QMS.
These clauses include the repeatability of implementation of clauses 4.1 Context of the Organization, 4.2 Needs and Expectations of Relevant Interested Parties, and 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 Actions to Address Risks and Opportunities.
Information presented will include the ongoing challenge with a management review that truly meets the requirements in Clause 9.3 by clearly understanding how to address the new inputs of changes in external and internal issues and effectiveness of actions taken to address risks and opportunities.
At the conclusion of this session, organizations will be aware of how to sustain their ISO 9001:2015 going forward using simple methods to maintain awareness within the organization.
The information in this session can also be used for an organization that is still in the process of completing its transition to ISO 9001:2015 by learning how to avoid some of the pitfalls that other organizations have experienced.
