Andrew is our President & CEO. Andrew joined Exemplar Global in 2016, but his relationship with us goes back many years before.

Graduating from Dundee University in Scotland with an Honors Degree in Microbiology, Andrew worked in technical roles in the dairy food industry for eight years before emigrating to New Zealand. There, he had a career spanning over 20 years in auditing. This includes senior leadership positions in both technical and business development roles. As part of one role, Andrew served for about 10 years on the Board of Directors of Exemplar Global (when it was still RABQSA). In 2015, Andrew joined ASQ (American Society for Quality) as Managing Director of ASQ Global, ASQ’s operations outside USA. As Exemplar Global’s ‘sole member,’ Andrew continued to serve on the Board until accepting the CEO position.

Andrew still lives in beautiful New Zealand and enjoys oil painting, gardening and running (slowly!) for fitness. Together with his wife, Julie, they enjoy walking with their young Cocker Spaniel, Monty. Having travelled extensively for many years, both for work and for leisure, the COVID-19 pandemic saw Andrew spending more time at home than any time in the last 30 years. He is looking forward to resume his travel plans soon!
