Job Vacancy: Business Manager Exemplar LINK

C.        SUPERVISOR’S TITLE:  Chief Operating Officer

D.        DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Exemplar Global recognised a gap in the professional certification market in 2019 and since then we have embarked on an ambitous and exciting business transformation, changing the way we operate to better serve the needs and wants of individual customers as well as the businesses that seek to engage their services. 

This transformation will see the business shift to a service-based model that puts the needs of all customers at the centre of our services. It will enable us to create pathways and possibilities for career advancement and professional development, in addition to brokering opportunities to connect individuals with businesses who are seeking their services in the suite of products and services offered under the banner of LINK, which together will differentiate Exemplar Global from its peers and establish us as a thought leader in the industry.

A business model has been conceived and is partly in train. We are now looking for an inspired and experienced professional to join us in this role to implement this conceptual model. Reporting to the COO, this person will be responsible for working with us to bring the vision for Exemplar Link to life.

Given the strategic importance of this role, it is envisaged that the incumbent will be readily accessible and regularly associate with other executive team members located in the Sydney, Australia Head Office.

E.        ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team to realise the strategic vision for Exemplar Link and communicate its value internally and externally
  • Design and deliver a commercial strategy for Exemplar Link that supports the strategic vision for the business including KPI’s and financial metrics to track success
  • Lead and influence the Exemplar Global business transformation by building a strategic roadmap for the successful transition from a product-based offering to a service-based offering
  • Select and develop the skills and resources that will establish a business team that will drive the implementation of the Exemplar Link model.
  • Work in concert with internal business teams to educate and influence various market segments about the value of the Exemplar Link model and its role in supporting their success
  • Collaborate in the technical build of Exemplar Link CRM platform to deliver a user experience that supports our commercial strategy and realises the value proposition for our customers
  • Build and lead a network of partners and affiliates that will enable us to realise the strategic vision for Exemplar Link
  • Build and drive “Thought Leadership” around the professionalisation of personnel certification.
  • Use data to share insights internally and externally to inform the development of products and services, create whitepapers, webinars and aid career journey choices available through Exemplar Link.

  • Conceptualise the future and drive towards commercialisation
  • Understand broad online marketing concepts to create a compelling strategic narrative supported by engaging content and an elegant user experience
  • Investigation and partnering with clients to understand their needs
  • Experience in business transformation and change leadership
  • Imagination, vision and creativity to build a new service delivery model
  • Consultancy capability and strong focus on achieving results
  • Influence and inspire others to partner with us on the journey

G.        ROLE RELATIONSHIPS:

Works closely with the Executive, other business teams and third-party providers to facilitate implementation of the ‘Link’ concept and a broad base of corporate understanding as to the business delivery of discreet elements of ‘Link’ that ensure customer’s needs are met and exceeded.

H.        EDUCATION:

A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.  

I.          SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Inspire and encourage team members to deliver against the Exemplar Link Business Plan.

J.         SUPERVISION & TRAINING:

This role is expected to operate and deliver against the business plan independently, but in collaboration with your senior manager.

K.        WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Work conditions – A combination of Home and Corporate office
  • Exposure to hazards – Standard office environment.
