Tracks

2018 will be a pivotal year for auditors, with the transition to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, as well as the release of ISO 45001 and ISO 19011. To effectively address these themes, the IAS will be organized into five tracks that will run throughout the two-week event:

Quality (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, AS9100, and TL 9000)

Learn the key differences between ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 9001:2008 and what you need to know about the transition. This track will also address IATF 18949, AS9100, and TL 9000.

Dr. Nigel H. Croft has been actively involved in quality management since 1974, when he began his career in the British steel industry as a student apprentice, and is now recognized as one of the world’s foremost experts in quality management and conformity assessment of management systems.

Track Chair – Chad Kymal, CTO and founder of Omnex Inc.

Chad Kymal is the CTO and founder of Omnex Inc., an international consulting and training organization headquartered in the United States. After graduating from the General Motors Institute, Chad spent a number of years working at General Motors and KPMG before founding Omnex Inc. in 1986. Over the course of Chad’s successful career, he has served on the Malcolm Baldrige Board of Examiners and has received numerous quality achievement awards, including the Quality Professional of the Year award by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Automotive Division in 2005.

Occupational health and safety is one of the hottest recent topics with the highly awaited ISO 45001 standard to be released early 2018. Hear experts discuss what this means for the industry and how to approach working with the new standard.
