JD Marhevko is currently the senior vice president of Quality, Lean and EHS for Accuride Corporation. Four Accuride sites have won the prestigious Manufacturing Excellence Award (in 2014-2016). She has been involved in Operations and Lean/Six Sigma efforts for almost 30 years across a variety of industries. She is an ASQ Fellow. In 2017, JD was honored as a Crain's Notable Woman in Manufacturing for the state of Michigan. In 2016, JD was awarded both the Shainin Medal and honored as one of the top 100 Women in Manufacturing by Washington, DC's, Manufacturing Institute.
Shauna Wilson is president at Amazon Consulting Inc., where she consults in performance management, audits to multiple quality standards, and provides online certification preparation training for the quality discipline. She is an IRCA-certified QMS auditor and a leading expert for the past decade for eAuditing and auditing global supply chains. She has a master’s degree in performance management technologies. She has presented at ASQ international conferences since 2002, and her writings have been featured in Quality Progress, The Auditor Online, and ASTD’s InfoLine. Wilson is the social responsibility chair at the Portland ASQ section and serves as a U.S. expert for PC/TAG 302 ISO 19011—Auditing Management.
Dr. Lisa Greenwood is an assistant professor in environmental, health and safety management at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), with more than 20 years of experience in environmental and occupational health and safety management. Her teaching and research interests include EHS management systems integration and implementation, environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility, consensus-based standards development, and thinking in systems.
Lynn Johannson's involvement in the world of international standards began in 1993. She was invited to join the Canadian mirror committee to ISO/TC 207 as a result of her company's success in applying quality management principles and philosophy to manage the contamination faced by the glass container industry in the early days of curbside recycling programs.
Principal Consultant, Stone Circle Environmental, LLC Ed Matthews is a consultant and auditor with expertise in environmental, health, and safety management. In the past 20 years, he has worked both nationally and internationally developing, implementing, and evaluating management strategies and tactics for organizations in a broad range of industry sectors. Ed is the recipient of Outstanding Achievement in Standards Development from the American Society for Quality. He is an active member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO Technical Committee 207 on environmental management. Ed serves as a U.S. delegate to ISO TC 207 subcommittees on environmental management systems and environmental auditing. Ed holds a Masters degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Greg Roberts has more than 18 years of experience in environmental and H&S management systems (EHSMS), environmental compliance, and risk management.
He represents the UK at ISO Technical Committee meetings, including recently contributing to the revision of the ISO 14001 guidance standard (ISO 14004).
LeAnn Chuboff has more than 25 years of food service experience specializing in supply chain food safety and quality assurance. Currently, LeAnn is the vice president of technical affairs for the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute responsible for the technical elements of the SQF program, including the development, maintenance, and technical support of the SQF Code and supporting materials.
Erika Miller is the director of training for D.L. Newslow & Associates, Inc., a 20-year veteran training, auditing, and consulting firm based in Orlando, Florida.
Miller earned her degree in chemistry from the University of Florida in 2005 and began her professional career as an analytical chemist. She worked for the state of Florida and in the byproducts sector of the Florida orange juice industry, most often using GC-FID and GC/MS analysis, in addition to bench-top chemistry.
Debby L. Newslow, a native of Needham, Massachusetts, is president of D. L. Newslow & Associates Inc., located in Orlando, Florida.
Newslow is the author of The ISO 9000 Quality System: Applications in Food and Technology released by John Wiley & Sons Publishing in February 2001. She also authored a HACCP-based chapter included in the 2003 John Wiley & Sons release of the Food Safety Compendium. In 2013, Newslow completed her second book, Food Safety Management Programs – Applications, Best Practices and Compliance, published by CRC Press/Taylor and Francis Group. She also wrote the chapter “Food Safety and Quality Management Systems” for the Encyclopedia of Food Safety (Elsevier 2013).
Govind Ramu is a senior director of global quality management systems at SunPower Corporation in San Jose, California. Ramu has more than 25 years of experience implementing quality management systems, and has held roles including Chair for US TAG TC 176/SC1 on ISO 9000:2015 standards, participating member for U.S. TAG to ISO/TC 69 (TAG 69) ASC Z1 Subcommittee on Statistics, and active contributor to IEC TS 62941 Solar PV QMS standards.
Bob Alisic is secretary general of the World Quality Council for use of ISO 18091 (quality standard for reliable local government). From 1993 to 2016, Alisic was a member of ISO Technical Committee TC 176 of the ISO 9000 family of International Standards and was responsible as a task group leader for the development of international standard ISO 9004:2009.
Joana dos Guimarães Sá graduated in forestry engineering at UTAD, University of Trás-os -Montes e Alto Douro, Portugal in 1987. She also has an MBA for Oporto Business School, Porto, Portugal.
dos Guimarães Sá currently works as executive development director at the Portuguese certification body, APCER. Here, she is in charge of developing new services and technical updates for management systems, product and service certification, and is responsible for technical support. Her areas of direct responsibility include quality management systems, innovation management systems, sustainable forest management, and chain-of-custody.
Kellan Ilse is a lead auditor for Quality Auditing LLC and has performed hundreds of audits across a variety of quality standards in 13 countries. He is a voting member of TAG 302 (ISO 19011 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems) and is an Exemplar Global certified Lead QMS Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO/IEC 17025.
Alka Jarvis has 30 years of experience in software engineering, including 19 years in total quality management. Her background encompasses management of large scale software systems, customer experience, product and process quality assurance, industry standards, corporate knowledge management, and training.
Sheronda Jeffries is a Technical Leader for Cisco Systems, where she is responsible for providing internal consulting support and training. She has more than 20 years’ experience serving as a third-party quality auditor and as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, specializing in quality management systems implementation and auditing. Jeffries represents Cisco Systems at TIA/QuEST Forum, an industry collaboration of companies dedicated to ICT supply chain quality and performance. In addition, she is a Certified Quality Auditor, a senior member of ASQ, a charter member of ASQ’s Quality Audit Division, and an ASQ Audit Division Regional Councilor.
Paul Palmes is principal consultant with Business Systems Architects Inc., in Fargo, North Dakota, and Prescott, Wisconsin. He is chairman of the International Technical Committee (TC) 176, subcommittee 1, which is responsible for the revision of ISO 9000 and chairman of the U.S. Technical Advisory Committee (TAG) to ISO/TC 176. He’s held positions as vice chair and membership chair within the U.S. TAG and represented the United States as lead delegate and working group secretary in the development of the international guidance standard, ISO 10014:2006—Quality Management Systems: Realizing Financial and Economic Value.
Elisabeth Thaller has worked as a management systems consultant, auditor, and instructor for more than 25 years. During this time she has coached organizations within diverse industry sectors as well as government agencies in the implementation of management system standards to reach conformity to international certification and accreditation standards.
After two decades as a software developer, Rick Hill spent four years with Nortel in IT, followed by seven as a QMS and process improvement specialist—earning a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Subsequently, he provided contract training and auditing services to four global certification bodies and assisted a range of organizations with QMS implementation and training.

Lorri Hunt has been implementing and auditing quality management systems to ISO 9001 in diverse organizations since 1994. She is an active member of the U. S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO Technical Committee 176 (ISO/TC 176). She currently serves as the head of delegation for ISO/TC 176/SC2.
Kevin Jones is a consultant on workplace safety, a freelance writer, ghostwriter, reviewer and blogger. He has been active in workplace safety since working in the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, the precursor to WorkCover, in the early 1990s. He has spoken at international safety conferences, contributed to academic safety research and written many articles in Australian safety and risk magazines.
Greg Gruska is on the MSA, SPC, FMEA, MFMEA, and Effective Problem Solving subcommittees for the Supplier Quality Task Force governing IATF 16949. Greg worked closely with Dr. W. Edwards Deming and is a charter member of the Greater Detroit Deming Study Group and the W. Edwards Deming Institute. He is considered one of the foremost authorities on risk management in the world.
Praburam Seshadri is a Certified Lead auditor for Quality Management systems based on ISO 9001, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001 (EMS), ISO 45001 (OH&S), AS9100D (Aerospace), ISO 17025 (laboratory management systems), and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System). During the last 10 years in certification and consulting services, he has helped more than 100 companies including manufacturing and service sectors achieve various management systems certifications globally.
Amitava Giri is the head of group and business excellence at Emirates National Oil Company. He is responsible for directing and managing the quality and business excellence function for the group. He also handles the management systems implementation and compliance, process Improvements, including deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and Innovation, business and operational excellence at the group level. At Emirates National Oil Company, he is a key member of management for establishing, monitoring and reviewing strategy and performance.
Dr. Nigel H. Croft has been actively involved in quality management since 1974, when he began his career in the British steel industry as a student apprentice, and is now recognized as one of the world’s foremost experts in quality management and conformity assessment of management systems.
Denise Robitaille is the author of 13 books, including her latest: ISO 9001:2015 Handbook for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses. She is chair of PC302 and an active member of USTAG to ISO/TC 176. She has participated internationally in standards development for over 15 years.
Chad Kymal is the CTO and founder of Omnex Inc., an international consulting and training organization headquartered in the United States. Chad has developed and teaches auditor training for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and integrated management systems. He is the founder and CEO of AQSR, a global registrar that routinely provided integrated management systems. He is a registered lead auditor who has conducted hundreds of audits since 1990. Chad is also on the ISO/TC 176, ISO/TC 207, PC 283 committees for ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management), and ISO 45001 (health and safety management systems).
