A Message from the President and CEO October 2020

First, I hope that all our friends reading this are OK and are keeping safe. Never have we known a year like this. I suspect we are only just beginning to appreciate the effects of this “new normal” on our lives. In some cases, it has spurred on initiatives more quickly than might otherwise have been apparent.

Technological developments have assisted and enabled alternatives to be considered. The tools at our disposal allow us to consider “what is next for our industry?” This question is the subject matter of our latest virtual conference, ‘The Future of Auditing Expo,’ which is open now and available throughout October. The Expo explores subjects as diverse as the use of technology, the “digitisation of auditing,” the future of auditor training, and includes thought-provoking sessions intended to lead us to consider what futures are possible. This event is our second annual expo to address the future of auditing. This is intentional as so much has changed and continues to change in our sector. To address this changing landscape we are excited to announce the launch of our latest innovation. With customer-centricity and ease of accessibility front of mind, Exemplar LINK will be launching mid-October. Exemplar LINK will host numerous services that have been carefully considered to benefit your professional profile and promote career enhancement. I won’t try to tell you all the features now, however some include digital badging and micro-training—both examples of innovations that are a part of our ongoing journey to better serve our sector.

Exemplar LINK will be accessible to any professional in the conformity industry, whether or not they are a current Exemplar Global customer or hold another certification. We have also made our certification much more accessible to provide the benefits of Exemplar LINK to the broader community. We believe this will drive a greater level of individual capability and thereby a more sought after, modern, professional industry.   

Exemplar LINK is being launched in Beta with a new customer platform, which over the coming weeks will replace our existing customer platforms. We are launching in a Beta phase to encourage users to give us feedback and be part of the development process. The team will be communicating what these changes look like and when you can expect them to take effect.
